Okay, I get the difference between total carbs and net carbs. Net carbs are "okay" for you, coz the body doesn't break them down fast enough coz we poo them out so it doesn't really affect your blood sugar. The REST of the bad carbs + the net carbs make up the "total carbs".
Okay, now here's my carb confusion: FRUITS. And veggies too. They're just so dang high in carbs!! And sugars! At least I know fruits are. One banana....30g carbs...REALLY?
So....I guess I'm confused about the sugars and the carbs in fruits and veggies. Danger? Fake-just-looks-like-danger-but-not-really-danger??
Help! I need someone to spell carbs out for me in layman's (?) terms. Will eating those fruits screw me up with carbs? I look at my counter on this website for my carb intake and its like WHOAAAAA where'd that come from?!
If it tastes good, spit it out.
