Since starting the sugarbusters diet, i've noticed how much my body craves sugar and how much better i feel when I have some. Its not so bad when i am at work, probably cause I'm distracted, but the weekend is where I find I'm snacking every hour. Coffee is good to suppress the cravings but i dont want to go from a being sugar junkie to a coffee junkie.

I just been drinking my coffee without sugar which will take some getting used to. I'm considering trying green tea but havent had the chance pick some up yet. There is this little shop around the corner from where i work which has a best variety of mixed nuts and dreid fruits. I'm sure the nuts are ok for the sugarbusters diet, but the dried fruit is probably laced with sugar as it so sweet. I will keep you posted.

try splenda in your coffee and heavy cream the cream is sweet and i dont use as much splenda also try Atkins diet I am a kitchen supervisor and around fresh baked cake, cookies, brownies, fresh bakes bread every day and since i started the diet I do not have as much of a sweet tooth as I did and don't really have the need to eat any of it and i have lost 10 lbs as well it works for me good luck

Low Carb High Fat is the way to go....forget the marketing hype "Low Fat and High Sugar" is the cause of Type II.
