So a friend from work and I just signed up for a "boot camp" fitness class Smile It's for 6 weeks, which is perfect for the abs diet! the only problem is it starts at 5:30 am and I am horrible at getting up in the morning ! Right now I get up at 6 and that is tough. Does anyone have any advice about getting up early?? and then what to do to keep awake during the day... suggestions?

I've found that if I drink enough water during the day, it helps me stay awake. I used to drink cream and sugar with a little coffee flavoring...but that is sooo fattening! I've recently started taking a multi vitamin, and I've been more alert because of that.

Does your gym have classes that work better with your schedule? Sometimes you have to figure out if it is truly something you are capable of doing. Because if you arent....you arent a morning person (like me)...itll just cause frustrations/disappointment if you try to set a goal that is near impossible for you to accomplish. Especially if there is a step/spin/etc. class for you in the afternoon when you wouldnt have troulbe making it there.

I would definately look into latermorning/afternoon/night classes....save yourself the frustration.

That really doesnt help....but in teh same sense I dont want you to get frustrated either. Some people just CANT wake up that early..... Dont knock yourself because of it.

Take small portions....it helps and once u get used to it, u dont miss eating more...cooking a small amount also helps so theres no leftovers..
