So a friend from work and I just signed up for a "boot camp" fitness class Smile It's for 6 weeks, which is perfect for the abs diet! the only problem is it starts at 5:30 am and I am horrible at getting up in the morning ! Right now I get up at 6 and that is tough. Does anyone have any advice about getting up early?? and then what to do to keep awake during the day... suggestions?

my gym has a boot camp, but it's at 6, which is too late for me! if they had it at 5, I would sign up in a heartbeat! I am actually not even close to being a morning person...I set my alarm about 45 minutes before I really need to wake up, and then hit snooze 4 or 5 times! Laughing

I've found that if I drink enough water during the day, it helps me stay awake. I used to drink cream and sugar with a little coffee flavoring...but that is sooo fattening! I've recently started taking a multi vitamin, and I've been more alert because of that.

Does your gym have classes that work better with your schedule? Sometimes you have to figure out if it is truly something you are capable of doing. Because if you arent a morning person (like me)...itll just cause frustrations/disappointment if you try to set a goal that is near impossible for you to accomplish. Especially if there is a step/spin/etc. class for you in the afternoon when you wouldnt have troulbe making it there.

I would definately look into latermorning/afternoon/night yourself the frustration.

That really doesnt help....but in teh same sense I dont want you to get frustrated either. Some people just CANT wake up that early..... Dont knock yourself because of it.

weight lifting and Low Carb????
Being an epileptic the best plan for you is keto. Have you cleared all of this with your specialist. Seen you go to ICU so many times.Would be awful if you take a turn for the worse.
