Hello Ladies!! Hope all of you are doing very well on the Abs diet. The one thing I struggle with is that it is so directed towards men. Im sure you all feel my pain! Should I be cutting back the amount of calories it says to have daily, since its focused on men? Has anybody else been struggling with this? I have been doing the exercises in the book, I love the weight training and my boyfriend is doing it with me so he has been a huge help in that area, and for cardio I do interval training a few times a week and a run on Sunday. So I think I have the work out part down, I am just not sure exactly how many calories I should be consuming. Oh...and on the cheat meal....how bad can we ACTUALLY cheat, I feel like I gain back 2 lbs after my cheat meal. Suggestions?!

Isn't there an Abs Diet for Women book? I thought there was one that made the modifications for you.
Edit: they do, here is a link
http://www.amazon.com/Abs-Diet-Women-Six-Week-Flatten/dp/1594866244
Love the food that loves you back.
Take it one day at a time!

I'm using the Abs Diet for Women book. It does have a lower calorie intake and a few other modifications for women. I got mine at Barnes and Noble, but my sister got hers from Amazon.com.
Oh, and as far as the cheat meal goes, you can eat whatever you feel like. My first week, I went all out, Ribs, French Fries, White bread, etc. But lately I haven't felt like putting that junk in my body, even though it's allowed. Now, I'll usually save my cheat meal for a night out with friends, or some other occaision. But, even when I'm cheating, I try to use moderation in my portion size.

BMI
According to my BMI I should weigh 115-154. I only use it to estimate what weight range I should head for, although I know it's not always an accurate indicator.

Is Quitting An Option???
One of the biggest thing I had to learn was not to quit after 1 slip up. Usually the guilt got the best of me, but I handle it a lot better now.
