I wouldn't think it would be a good idea.
First, most splenda is packed in a filler called maltodextrin. This is a starch and is very difficult to digest.
Splenda, aka sucralose, is a sucrose-like molecule. Basically, they have added Chlorine atoms to sucrose to make it indigestible by humans. However, since it is not digestible by us, it does not get absorbed and passes down the GI tract. It is digestible by bacteria.

I would think that Splenda is allowable because diet soda is allowable and it would have a sweetner added. What do you think?

Splenda on Abs Diet?
I think a little to sweeten the coffee or in your diet soda is fine, just don't over do it.
