Just a quick question.

Does protein make us hungry?

Since starting to diet, doing cardio and weight lift I have been eating and drinking heaps more protein and I am feeling more hungry.

Is this because I am having more protein or because I am burning more energy?
Start weight 20/04/2013 = 240kg Goal weight 120kg (total loss 120kg)

It won't happen over night, but if you don't give up it WILL happen.

Lifting weights will make you hungry as you are putting on some muscle.

I agree with Cthulhu, it's not the protein that's making you hungry, it's the extra workouts. Eating protein will be the best thing to combat the hunger, and it's also possible that you may be slightly dehydrated from your workouts. Often times we confuse thirst for hunger, so try drinking more water!

Someone who is busier than you is working out right now.
There will come a day when you can no longer do this. Today is not that day.

Actually carbs are the ones that satisfy you less, protein can be very filling even in much lower amounts than compared to carbs, so no.
