Freezer meals

Hello all my weight lose buddies! I need some advice. I'm fixing to start working nights, and I want to still be able to eat right, and my family as well. The problem is, I want to premake our dinners, and freeze them, that way my husband can come home and just heat and feed our kids. I have NO CLUE about what to cook and freeze! Does anyone have any receipes or suggestions!?

Buy some cookbooks for crock-pot meals and casseroles. You might have to tweak them a bit to make them right for your diet, but some books will give you inspiration. You might also try checking some out at the library.

I make meatloaf a lot, a double batch so we have planned-overs. Stews and soups are great for that too. Any large protein like a lean roast or a whole turkey will last a few days.

Breakfast burritos (bacon,eggs, onion, cheese) are great to freeze. They reheat in the microwave in less than 2 minutes and you can wrap them in saran wrap individually.

We don't really cook and freeze because we don't have an extra freezer and there's no room in the one with the fridge. But at my WW meetings last year there was a woman that did that for a week at a time. She liked to cook all her different types of vegetables b/c she was single and you get sick of eating the same thing day after day. So she'd cook them and then that day decide what she wanted and pull some out of the freezer.

There are some really good crock pot recipes like sararay mentioned. And I love getting cookbooks out the library!

Take small portions....it helps and once u get used to it, u dont miss eating more...cooking a small amount also helps so theres no leftovers..
