Your previous information is not lost, though your weight history progress bar gets reset. You can fix that by making a historical entry with your starting weight...it will look weird on the graph, but it does the job. Take a look at my weight history, I had to do such an entry when I changed my diet from Slim Fast.

I also changed diet to Nutrisystem. It kept the old info just created a new weight chart, but you can still see the progress in the history.

don't over exercise, you'll be too hungry to avoid cheating. i do 1 hour each day, 45 mins elliptical and 15 weights/crunches.
