Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie to Fat Secret. Looking at starting the low GI diet on Tuesday, Jan 1, 2008 - yikes!

Any advice or tips would be most welcome, espically those suffering from PCOS!

Hi!
Not to get too personal, my wife and I started our dieting for the same reasons! (she has PCOS and her OBGYN recommended weight loss to help with infertility). Her OBGYN recommended the program we are using, and also put her on medication for PCOS, but she's doing so well...almost 30lbs. in 8 weeks!!!

Good luck!! You can do it!

Hi Winxy,

I've changed my lifestyle for PCOS recently, too. I know it's too late to give you starting tips, but I hope you're doing well!

Hello
Hello finding what works and is sustainable for you is key. Also burning more calories then what we consume is part of the equation too. This journey is a marathon and not a sprint. Good luck
