Log your food intake daily and see what happens. I bet you'll be surprised. Keep up the plan! You can do it!
** Goal 1- 20 pounds- 4/30/2013
** Goal 2- get back down to wearing size 16 jeans
** Goal 3- normal blood pressure
** Goal 4- well below "One" Derland
** Goal 5- 600 miles this year in 200 mile increments
** Goal 6- Decreased back and knee pain

Blessings,
Sherill

Thank you, Sherillynn. I log EVERYTHING. I think I got off track after two weeks of doing very well. I started adding coconut flour, whey protein, carbquik, making fatbombs... etc. Back to eating CLEAN!!!! Cool

K- I love this quote from Stephen Covey:
“Before the plane takes off, the pilots have a flight plan…but during the course of the flight, wind, rain, turbulence, air traffic, human error, and other factors act on the plane…90% of the time the plane is not even on the prescribed flight path...During the flight, the pilots make constant adjustments to get back on track. The flight of that airplane is the perfect metaphor for family life…it doesn’t make any difference if we are off target or even if our family is a mess. The hope lies in the vision and in the plan and in the courage to keep coming back time and time again.” – Stephen Covey

Sending you good thoughts!

Yeah, love the flight plan quote. Thirteen days and counting and I'm searching for recipes all over the place to keep me on track. I have found a life-saver recipe, maybe this will help: 2 1/2c Heavy Whipping Cream (Make sure you check it. It has zero carbs.), 6 eggs, 1 TB Sugar Free Vanilla syrup, 12 squirts of liquid Splenda. Bring the cream to almost boiling. In a bowl whisk the eggs, vanilla syrup, and splenda. Temper the eggs by adding small amounts of heated cream into the eggs and whisking, then pour it all back into the pan. Whisk until thickened and refrigerate. This has saved both my daughter and I on several occasions when we want that something sweet. Hope it helps.

weigh in
Good luck! I weigh in every day which has to stop. It is too easy to get caught up in the excitement of seeing the scale drop so much in a week-that is because of water weight I am sure.

Need suggestions on healthy/low-calorie foods.
You can use shakes for a few days. I have used the Atkins shakes and they are very good tasting. Soups are good though as stated above you may have to puree them. You could puree or blend cottage cheese ...
