Hey! I would love to compare recipes and swap advice. I'm kickstarting my diet since I fell off track over the holidays. Have you read any of the books by Rick Gallop?

Hi,
Yes, I have Rick's book. I have been looking for his cookbook, but can't seem to find it. I did find some gi diet cookbooks at the library though. this is my first time on the gi. it seems to work well. thanks for getting back to me. I usually check here once a day. got to get ready for work now and eat my oatmeal. have a good day.

I wasn't sure about the cook book. I personally do not like Splenda, and thats in alot of his recipes. But I have found lots of great recipes on here. I would have to say the noodleless lasagna is one of my all time favorites. Been considering buying the Living with the GI diet book that he wrote. Have you looked in Chapters? I found all the books there.

Ketosis Achieved
Headaches and dizziness are signs that you need more salt. Try having a cup of broth or bouillon morning and night, that's usually enough. The doctors say adaptation to keto takes 2 to 6 weeks.
