My name is Linda and I have tried just about every diet out there and yes, I lose, but then gain it all back because I have yet to make it a way of life. I am almost at my all-time highest weight and I look and feel terrible. I had the lap band back in 2004 and it nearly killed me (literally) and went back in 2008 and had the gastric sleeve. It didn't cause any problems but I'm still fat so it didn't help any. I am a foodaholic and I know that in order to lose the weight and keep it off forever I need to make a life-long commitment. I've lost 50 lbs on Atkins before but after a 3 month plateau and sticking with it strict I got discouraged and got off only to regain every pound plus more. This time will be different!

My name is Lisa, I had my sleeve May 2012. I am also struggling with food addiction. I have lost 60lbs and struggling with the mental and emotional part of this journey. Are you still on here or working toward your goals? I want to meet more people who did not experience the "before/after" weight loss success montage shown on gastric surgery sites. It is very difficult to find people willing to talk about this part of being sleeved. Blessings to you Linda!
