I am almost at my all-time highest weight and I look and feel terrible. I had the lap band back in 2004 and it nearly killed me (literally) and went back in 2008 and had the gastric sleeve. It didn't cause any problems but I'm still fat so it didn't help any. I am a foodaholic and I know that in order to lose the weight and keep it off forever I need to make a life-long commitment. I've lost 50 lbs on Atkins before but after a 3 month plateau and sticking with it strict I got discouraged and got off only to regain every pound plus more. This time will be different!
