I cheated and started dieting a few months ago, but I thought I'd wait till New Years to join since that is when most people get started. I am looking from some buddies diet with because, lets face it, it is hard. Looking forward to meeting a lot of you. Best of luck to everyone in 2013!

Add me as a buddy we'll do this together. I just started on dec 27th and I have 63 lbs to lose. I'm doing the Atkins diet and I'm in the induction phase which is kinda hard for me. My husband loves carbs and he wants me to eat them with him. It's been 6 days and he is still rolling his eyes at me for not eating bread, potatoes, rice and pasta. I just take a deep breath and try to ignore it, Although it still upsets me I wish he could see how hard it is for me to stay on track with it. After all my doctor wanted me to go a low carb diet, because of some health issues I'm having. She even told him that he should also be on one. I'll just take it day by day.

I'm just getting back in the swing of things after falling off the wagon! 20lbs to lose until I reevaluate. The more buddies I have, the easier it will be!

I feel the same way. it's good to talk to people who are trying to lose weight . especially when others try to talk you out of it or make you feel weird because your eating differently.

I'd like some buddies on here too Smile I lost 15 lbs on here nearly 2 years ago but have now gained it all back (the last 5 over this December!). So I'm back on the wagon and would love to lose 25-30 this time (and of course, keep it off!). Mutual encouragement and inspiration would be great Smile
