The Atkins tips say to count carbs and watch your calories - but what about fat? I think my carbs and calories are controllable, but when I get all that in line, the fat percentage comes up higher than the protein! Is this okay? My carbs percentage is very VERY low, my protein percentage moderate to high, but my fat percentage is the highest of all. Am I doing this correctly? Thanks much! Smiles!

They are concerned primarily with grams of carbs. Most people will automatically keep their fat down low enough so they lose weight, as fat is more satisfying than carbs as an energy source. However, if you track your calories and find you are eating so much fat that your calories are outside your range, you would probably need to cut down on fat. But for most people it is not necessary to be concerned about it.

You are doing it right.
