Ratio's HELP!

Hey All, can someone help me out. I'm on day 2 of my induction and I'm a little confused! Reading DANDR I was under the impression the only real factor for entering ketosis was keeping net carbs at or under 20.

On the internet I'm reading lots of Ratios talk... making sure the rations are correct. So what's the skinny? Also, how do I get my Ratios to line up. I've been fiddling with my food choices and it's incredibly hard to get to 20 NC and keep my Carb Ratio at 5 percent.

What should my ratios be? I'm 5'5, 150, med active.

Sorry if this was posted recently elsewhere...I looked and couldn't find an answer to all of my questions!

Everyone's body is different but the below link may help you. Also, you should check out the Atkins website if you haven't already; lot's of help and information there too.

Start weight 245#
1st goal: 220# - met 04/07/11
2nd goal: 210# - met 05/21/2011
Start over: 221# 11/08/11
Start over: 233.2# 10/2012
Start over goal met: 220# 11/14/2012
Mini goal to be in 212's by Dec - met 12/31/2012
Mini goal: 207's by end of Jan- met 01/31/2013
Mini goal: 197's by end of Feb - met 02/27/2013
re-start grrr Mini goal: 197's by 09/19/2013
I have to restart again as I slipped. I am leaving the above so I can keep track. It happens and I have to keep learning.

Count the carbs after you subtract the fiber. Net carbs is what you want to track.Example..I cup of broccoli cuts is 4. carbs minus the 2. fiber. So 4.-2.= 2 net carbs. Good luck =)Also try using heavy ...

Also go to the health food store and purchase salt that contains minerals, i.e. Celtic Salt Brand. And if you prefer you can get some chicken broth too.
