Fresh is best, as opposed to cooked or sugared. You can add a little artificial sweetener if you prefer. You can also pour over a little heavy cream.

Add one variety starting with berries and eat that every other day. Note how your body reacts eg cravings etc. stop if you notice any reactions and try again after a few weeks.
Only add foods that you know are safe to provide variety if needed. I love double cream and a dash of splenda over my berries.

Can you do yogurt? A friend recommended to me plain yogurt with splenda mixed in. Maybe try that with some berries.

It depends what eating plan you are on. You are posting this in the Atkins thread, so if you're in induction, 1 8oz container of plain yoghurt is 16 carbs, doesn't leave much room for your veggies for the day. If you're further on in the plan and can handle more carbs then go for it.
You, however have listed that you're on the Paleo diet. Some paleo followers do not eat any dairy but if we are supposed to be eating like our ancestors, well, yoghurt was eaten as early as 5000 yrs B.C.
Just because of the health benefits, i would go ahead and eat it.

I'm doing Paleo, but I do eat dairy. I love Greek yogurt : )

It's a real balancing act of what's good for you and the #'s but I think the yogurt has so many good functions in your body that it outweighs the high carb factor. If you're not in induction of Atkins, then yogurt is good.
if you're on the Paleo, why are you concerned about carbs,? curious...

I get fresh when they're in season. otherwise, I get the frozen, whole ones without any sugar (just berries). I usually just put some stevia on them or you can whip up some cream with a bit of stevia.

I'm not really sure what the rules of Atkins are (beyond induction), but an Atkins-savvy friend mentioned plain yogurt so I figured I would just pass it on here.

This is the protein shake I've been making, in case you want to try it:
- 1 cup almond milk (0 net carbs)
- 1 scoop of Iso 100 gourmet chocolate protein powder (1g carbs)
