Truthfully if this is in your mind then you are the last one in huge line of millions of people. Everyone seeks how can I have a quick weight loss? Nobody asks about the weight loss in a healthy way. This is the big problem that everyone wants quick results without knowing the proper way to reach their goal. And also they don’t care the side effects of sudden weight loss. Anyways it can be possible if done in a proper way. It can be possible but you must have to get some fitness training to achieve this goal

When in a large caloric defecit (1000-1500 Cal). Eating more protein can help with satiety and muscle retention. At the end of the day, your caloric defecit should be base on how you feel. Listen to your body!

That is true. I think the saying that "You are what you eat." is getting way too overblown, people are focusing way too much on what they eat and forgetting the other things that they should be doing which is EXERCISE. Sure, eating healthy is the best first step but there are also other factors that you should consider if you want to lose weight the right way.
I've been guided by this fantastic cookbook and doing workouts along side it and I can't be happier. My whole lifestyle has changed for the better.

We're often told that losing weight is a simple mathematical equation of calories in, calories out. Burn more calories than you eat and you’ll lose fat. Is it really that simple?

Boiling everything down yes. It's ways of producing a deficit of calories in vs calories out.
There is a bit more too it when you consider psychology, drug effects, etc etc. But the baseline is if you are eating less than you burn YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT.
