Achy legs/joints, etc

Does anybody else get this? I looked up the symptoms of the Atkins Flu, but it doesn't say the achey legs, knees, joints, etc.

Is this Atkins Flu? Started gradually, end of last week. I have been on induction for a while, but completely cut out salt. Am using No-Salt.

Is it tea time with chicken broth for me???

Aches and pains are just part of your body getting rid of toxins in your system. Drink lots of water and be patient. Achy joints is often a sign that you are intolerant to something you are eating. It might be eggs, dairy, or something else entirely, since you don't seem to be eating any grains.

depends how bad your eating habits have been for the past years of your life. If you've eaten fast foods, sugars, yeast products, and basically processed foods, yes, toxins can build in your intestines and bowels and line the walls and over the years can develop into diverticulitis. Yeast especially can enter your joints , sinuses, and just all over your body. Yeast needs sugar to multiply so by eating sugar you multiply the yeast in your body. Doing this cleanse, eliminating all sugars stops that process. I also drink a concoction of Bentonite, psyllium and caproil every morning for a few weeks every year and this cleans out the bowels, When i first started this cleanse years ago, yes , it lasted for over a month, but now that i've been eating healthy organic foods with no white sugar, flour or starches. I have almost no symptoms at all.
Hopefully you'll feel better soon, compared to how many years it took to build up in your system, 1 month is a relatively short time to clean it out

well Cthulhu, after browsing thru your diet calendar and just how well it's doing for you, maybe a good cleanse of all those toxins would help you a bit? Taco Bell? Cadbury's chocolates? I don't believe that those foods would be acceptable in any of the diet plans or more importantly a healthy eating plan.
