do you drink alcohol and still lose weight?

I never drink alcohol so this is literally a one off, but I feel so bad. I have one cheat day per week and I had that yesterday ( KFC )

Should I go or should I pass it by?

How about going out and drinking diet soda? If you never drink anyway, why do it now? I LOVE my beer but its a HUGE waste of calories. Offer to be the 'designated driver' lol

Hmm... I don't drink much either, but I will have a light beer once in a while... as long as it's a Sam Adams! (less than 150 calories per 12oz bottle!) So I can have one without feeling tooooo guilty...

1 beer wouldn't kill you, depends on what you did the rest of the week. As Champers suggested, opt for something with less calories even a light beer (although I'm not a fan of diet soda). But I do drink while trying to lose weight. I limit it to 1 or 2 times a week and even then it's a couple glasses of wine or a gin/club soda (tonic has sugar). It must be my age because drinking too close to bed or drinking any more than that and I can't sleep that night. Smile
this damn tracker below hasn't been right in months! My current weight is 137!

As you said it's a one off. If you weigh yourself daily it may affect you for s few days after due to dehydration and your water balance.

I wouldn't let the calorie intake bother you as it's only for one day.
Losing weight is a life change (healthy) and shouldn't be focused solely on calories.
The thing folk over look is the chemical / toxins which are in alcohol. But if I had to choose between alcohol & aspartame I'd choose beer every time.
