Just started HCG on Feb-2-2013.
Seems to be working awesome so far!
Day1/Feb2 - 190lbs (loading day/eat fatty foods)
Day2/Feb3 - 193lbs (loading day/eat fatty foods)
Day3/Feb4 - 192lbs (start of Very Low Calorie Diet)
Day4/Feb5 - 190lbs
Day5/Feb6 - 188lbs

I believe that if you were to have a drink, red wine would be your best option due to the tannins being deemed "good for you". That's just my opinion though.
