I need to find some motivation and inspiration to continue on. My fears became reality today when I hopped on the scale and realised that I have regained most of what I initially lost.
Currently grasping at straws to remain in control, and battle depression at the same time. Tired of feeling gross! Sad

I do believe that 'you never fail until you stop trying'. I can't tell you how many times I lost weight, only to gain it back and have to start again...and while those moments feel truly horrible, you've done it before, which means that you know you can do it again.

You know, I haven't been reading the forum posts all that long, and I already recognise your name, because you spend the time and effort to nurture other people...time to give some of that to yourself Smile. With the depression, the thing that helps me the most is to remember 'baby steps'...silly little example but if today all you can do is get up and wash a dish, that's all you can...tomorrow you get up and wash two, and so on. And often without even realising it you've picked up pace and before you know it the house looks amazing. One day, one little step at a time.

It will get better.

Just remember - it'll all get better again. You might have to work for it, but it WILL get better. That's something I keep telling myself whenever I feel down. Usually I think about my first big love and a breakup, and how I felt that I just want to die - with time it all turned out just fine, I moved on, found new love. Same with weight - just imagine that gaining it all back was a break-up. Now you just need to focus on finding new happiness again. It might be lots of work to build up this new relationship (with your body, with way of eating and working out), but it'll we all worth it in the end!

A mistake is not a "failure", it is a learning experience.
