hmm I never thought about using WW points in fatscret because I use WW online - I am actually using fatsecret to see the truth because I don't like the WW+ since I eat mostly fruit and veggies and everything is 0 points it looks as though I am not eating all my points when I know that it is possible to eat too much F & V. I don't trust the Points Plus since I found out that Oranges are bad for diabetics because they contain so much sugar but they are still 0 points? and how is it that a small little tangerine (mandarin orange) is 0 points but when it is the only item in a recipe that same tangerine becomes 2 points? when is a point a point. So what I have been doing is recording my food in WW online then recording it as well in fatsecret and seeing how my caloric intake is comparing to my daily use, what my fat (there is fat in mangos and oranges et al?) and carbs balance picture looks like.

Is there a script for Points (NOT PointsPlus) anymore? I can't seem to locate it. All I get now is PointsPlus. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this! I had stopped using FatSecret a while back, and when I came back to start tracking points again I saw that the option was no longer here. This was the only reason I was using FatSecret over other tracking sites. So thank you for creating this add-on script! Smile

The default for me wasn't tracking fiber. Keep in mind, you MUST track FIBER, CARBS, PROTEIN and FAT.

http://userscripts.org/scripts/versions/75800 is the link to use. I am using it in Chrome, not Firefox, and it worked right off the bat.

Okay, I really don't understand the grease monkey add on, help. I have fat fibre carbs and protein checked.
How does grease monkey enter into adding this script? My copy of grease monkey on Firefox is enabled.
Do I open a new tab to download?
Can someone tell me how to upload this script also if it is still working?

Ps, I have a Mac.

Help!

Hi Healsdata! I've been using the add on for a couple of years and been thankful to you everyday for it!! Help!! Did I ruin it?
My mom now wants to start using it but I couldn't remember how to install it, so I removed the extension (google chrome) and then tried to add it again (original points version), but I get a little pop up at the top that says Apps, Extensions and User scripts cannot be added from this website. And directs me to Learn More https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/2664769?p=crx_warning&rd=1
Please help!!!!

Google did make it a little harder to get the script working in Chrome. To install it, you now need to save a copy of the script to your computer first. It goes like this:

1. Visit http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/75800
2. Right click on "Install and choose "Save link as..."
3. Save the file somewhere like My Documents.
4. Go to Options > Settings > Extensions in Chrome
5. Drag the 75800.user.js file over Chrome. You should receive a prompt: "Drop to install"
6. Drop then click Add

Given the recent visual changes to Fatsecret and the food journal, this script is now broken. Is there any interest in me making a new version? I'd probably make it as a Chrome extension this time.
