Hi I am a 37 year old vegetarian female looking to get into the best shape of my life. I know there are a lot of fads out there, but I am looking for a buddy who is interested in health at least as much as weight loss and wants to share motivation and healthy nutrition and exercise tips.
I have recently started doing Muay Thai classes after a two year absence and I am trying to eat regular, healthy meals, with mixed success so far.
If you are also into healthy weight loss (no low-carb, high fat diets, just calorie balance and high nutrient foods) I would love to be buddies. I know a bit about healthy eating from a few visits to the Pritikin Centre, but I am always looking to learn more.

hi Corsetlady! I too am interested in health and nutrition. I have been losing weight but the number itself is not the goal. I have been building lean muscle mass and getting into great shape- I've even run a few 5k's.. .which I never thought I would do. I have a nutritionist friend who has been assisting me with what to eat so I would love to be buddies and share info! I'll send a friend request..

Hello, I am a 20 year old organic female that is zuper passionate about exercise. I love it! Right now I am as employed as an exotic dancer and play tennis, swim, run, bike, and lift weights on the side. All and all, I cannot help but be passionate about moving my body and would love to be buddies with someone who shares the same interest.

Hi,It's good that you know most about your diet. So the things you could do is that you can divide your meal into smaller meals. Consume lots of fluids excluding alcohol and diet soda. And do regular exercises.

I did muay thai in my younger days--loved it, hard workout, too! My tip is, if you mess up, don't give up. Learn from mistake (or discard what was an unrealistic plan) and get back on track without self-abuse. Good for you for aiming for healthy eating that can last a lifetime--that's the only way to keep it off. People can lose doing all kinds of crazy things, but what happens two or three years after the diet is over?

I would not necessarily recommend 2000 calories. Use the calculator, to make sure. The RDI (recommend det daily intake) varies a LOT from person to person. If you feel that you want a faster weight loss ...
