i'm sure my FS buddies think i am a snob, or i'm an idiot who doesn't know how to navigate the site, lol. Ive had some very good information given to me via comments on my journal but I didn't even know there were comments there. it's not like when you get a msg in your inbox, it tells you that as soon as you sign on. I accidentally went to my journal page and noticed there were comments and i'm so grateful. some things i eventually concluded myself but had i known the info was there i could have been putting it to use sooner. Thank you all my buddies, i do appreciate all the great advice. Laughing

I second this motion. That would be a great alert. I also think FS should have different levels of privacy on here. For example, showing certain pics to only buddies. I love this site and am hopeful for continued improvement.

I totally agree. I made it habit to check for comments a couple of times every day, when I go online. I like to keep up with my buddies, and it would be nice with a little notification.

I started my weight loss journey on October 4th, 2010 - and this is what I have accomplished so far:

Me five. i dont think theres a soul on this site who would think you a snob for that comment. in absence of this feature, I do a few things to hope to catch comments. First I go to My Journal as you did. Second I go to My Fat Secret and filter on Me -> All Activity or Me -> Post -> Replies. And third, I look at the Lastest Posts or Recent Activity columns to the lower right side of the page.

I sent an email thru the "contact us" tab respectfully requesting this improvement so lets all keep our fingers crossed and pray the makers of FS comply. Until then I will do as kingkeld and helewis suggest and check several times a day. I stay logged on, with FS minimized all day long anyways, I just hafta remember to hit f5, lol.
