To be successful, you need daily goals that will turn into habits. My top three daily goals for weight loss and fitness are:

1. Consume less than 2200 calories per day.

2. Consume less than 100 grams of net carbs per day (carbs minus fiber.

3. Burn 1000 calories per day through exercise.

Good luck to everyone in the coming new year with their weight loss and fitness goals. If you fail one day, there is no reason that you cannot succeed the next day. Keep at it!!!
"Just get it done already!"

Everyday Goals: Burn 1000 calories exercising. Keep daily calorie intake below 2200. Keep Carbohydrate intake below 100 grams (50 is better.)

Sounds very feasible, at least most of us are already on the right track, it's not like those end of the year resolutions and that come and go and we never follow through.

The carb part is the hard one, there is always a Juice or something you take that send it through the roof, and I completely eliminate bread from my diet.

Keeping more strict my diet.

1. Consume less than 1800 calories per day.

2. Consume less than 100 grams of net carbs per day (carbs minus fiber)

3. Burn 1000 calories per day through exercise.

4. Whitening of teeth.

5. Laser surgery on my eyes.

I noticed that the more weight I lose, the more vain I get. Smile
I started my weight loss journey seriously on oct 18 of 2012, and so far:

Burning 1000 calories a day would be a killer for me. That takes beyond extreme dedication.

Eating less than 2200 calories a day???
By all accounts in most websites, I need to eat around 1200 calories per day, to lose a lb a week.
Which diet is this, where one can eat 2200?
Seriously; I'd love a diet that gives a little more leeway.
I really need to keep my calories way down every day, just to get rid of that one lb.

If you are excercising regularly with a decent amount of effort, then your daily calorie intake must be increased an equivalent amount.- and you will still lose weight
