*hugs*

If getting angry helps you through then more power to you. Personally, it was only after letting go of resentment and anger towards my toxic ex that I was able to make some positive changes in my own life.

You're blessed with four children. I hope you can let them inspire you to try to be the best version of yourself each day. I recommend you put down the food & pick up the babies. Spend some quality time as a smaller, more awesome family doing happy dances in your living room celebrating the positive things each day.

Therapy is great! If it isn't in the budget though you always have us. Smile

Hope that things are going well. And yes your husband is an asshole!!

Be the person that you want your kids to grow up to be. I know that it is very, very hard to snap out of feeling kicked down. But TRUST ME you will come out the better person after all this Smile

Friend me if you need to talk.

I am sending cyber hugs. I always get up and move when I get depressed. I like to walk, so I do that or I garden or just put on some dance music and get up and dance! You'd be surprised how much better you'll feel, and you're burning calories too!

Celebrate as much as you can! I agree with the folks above, who said to let it go, if he left HE wasn't worth it!

Support and help your kids to know that it wasn't anything they did...

set yourself some personal goals...and then set to work fulfilling them!

Imagine how much fun its going to be, next time he sees you, and your life is together, and you look HOT...and best of all, you DIDN'T need him to help you do it!!

Big hugs by the way...that sucks, and I dont know a single soul that hasn't gone through it.

Ya that was pretty much a given with a 1st post like that.

I often wonder about these posters who have 1 post but the post is very provacative... I wonder if it is people from fatsecret posting these things to provok discussion.

There are plenty of desperate people who come to this site and other sites like it looking for a quick solution to their problems. She joined a challenge while she was here. Perhaps she found that the level of commitment necessary to make progress was not something she was able to face. There are also unstressed people who reach that conclusion and end up returning quickly to their previous eating habits.

I am so sorry to hear that.
Very similar happened to me a few years ago. I was doing the Biggest Loser diet and losing weight. Then my partner left me. I thought stuff it and went back to my old bad eating habits and gained all the weight I lost plus heaps more which added to my depression.
On top of this my Mum past away.
I got through it all and now I have a better partner and losing weight again and I can 't wait til I get to my goal weight looking good and bumping into her in a shop and seeing her face to see what she missed out on.
You can do it too.
Lose your weight you want. Look hot and show him it's his loss.
You are better then him so prove it.
Keep posting on here for chats and support, update your weight loss for encouragement and know that you will get through this. Just think, next christmas do you want to be at your goal weight or seeing bigger numbers on the scales. Don't look back with regret, like I did, and wish you stuck with it because what you will gain is soooo much. Look and go to your kids for smiles Smile
Start weight 20/04/2013 = 240kg Goal weight 120kg (total loss 120kg)

It won't happen over night, but if you don't give up it WILL happen.
