I too have tried some of the Walden Farms products. It's hit and miss. I am with Hoser :) They taste chemically. I don't see how they can have NO calories-and what is cellulose gel? ugh A scoop of nonfat greek yogurt that is doctored up with spices can make a nice dressing too.

Meringue cookies are always a hit-you can flavor them with about anything and use Splenda to sweeten them. When I am wanting something to share-these are my go to! Good luck, Shawna

headache first few days on Atkins
DDeanna-if you are having headaches try and drink more water. Many of the high protein items we eat are loaded with sodium which can cause dehydration. Also, the lack of sugar and/or caffeine can cause the headaches. They eventually go away, but make sure you are drinking LOTS of water. Best wishes to you :)

Traveling-what now?
I am going to my hometown (small town) and the restaurants don't have the nutrition stuff posted. I usually have a sub sandwich and also hit the burger joint for a patty melt. I think I will pack some of the high protein meal bars I have, eat a good breakfast like chattycathy! suggested and I think I will completely avoid the burger place-Too much temptation. There is a Hardee's there-I will check out their menu on-line and decide before I go. I am sure my family will be bbq-ing, I will just have to avoid the chips and eat the protein and a big salad. It's the mental part that is hard. I need to think long term. Thanks you guys :)

you can grill artichokes too and dip the leaves in balsamic and olive oil-or Italian dressing-yum!

Traveling-what now?
I am traveling this week-to my favorite eating towns! Yikes! I would appreciate any tips on how to keep going. I am doing so good, I don't want to get out of this groove. I would appreciate any tips and also-just some support while I am gone. :) Maybe I should just eat half of what I would usually eat, so I don't feel deprived-or totally avoid. Suggestions? THANK YOU

Do you eat all your calories?
I eat around 10-12 carbs/day ... it easy to keep track if you use the calculator on site ... you don't have to weigh anything its all been done for you ...if you don't keep track its much harder ...
