Looking for a few diet buddies
I'm 40 years old and i'm looking to lose about 25ish lbs (hopefully). I want my appearance to match my personality :) Fun-loving, laid-back and generally happy. Add me if you're interested in sharing ideas. Can't be there for you daily but will be there for you as much as I can!

Breakfast Ideas
Oatmeal with fruit, fruit in general, bagel thins (mini bagels) with crushed fruit on it, heck... have a piece of pre-cooked chicken and veggies if you're in the mood :) Pretty much anything goes as long as you exercise a little and eat within reason. I'm always crazy rushed in the mornings as well, good luck! Erin

Cheat day for me! ...and always will be :) Counting calories but not going to worry about it until Monday

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Every single morning within a half an hour of waking up but before I eat. If it's bad news I can think back and figure out where I went wrong, I don't get discouraged... yet! If it's good news, then I have a lighter step that day :)

Dieting alone
Just make one part of the meal for them and add "the good stuff" that you can eat to part of their meals. It doesn't have to be their whole meal. That way they can enjoy what they like and you still get to eat with them and be consious of what's on your plate. Small potions of theirs and larger portions of yours. Your family loves you, maybe they'll love your food too???

Note to self
I'd say relax about the exercise. Exercise is good and will contribute somewhat to your weight loss - but not much. It's harder if you don't exercise but what loses weight is eating less ...
