Tips for resisting hibernation?
I hate snow........ That's why I;m looking for colleges in the South and West! I guess the best way to get over it is to just do stuff despite wanting not too (sorry, lame advice). BTW, I was on the high way about a month or so ago and I say a license plate that said somthing along the lines of "GNYRAY" or something like that and it made me think of your user name. Lol.

Peanutbutter
mmmmmmmm...peanut butter. it is kinda a trigger food for me, so when i feel moody or weird, i dont buy it. But if its already in the house... trouble awaits! lol But usually, I can control my PB intake. Depends on your mind set, ya know?

Wisdom tooth surgery and Workouts!!!!
@oddity, thanks, that actually does help. I just need to believe that this surgery won't have me bedridden for the rest of my life (though that's how i imagine it) @greep omg, my cheeks are already chipmunk-y, I'm going to look so weird when I get them out! But actually, I'm not too worried about the eating liquid stuff, i have a ton of smoothie recipes that i need to try

Wisdom tooth surgery and Workouts!!!!
I at the soft foods and kept changing the gauze until Monday.
Do you have to have that gauze stuff in your mouth all the time?? I don't mind smoothies, so that won't be too big of a deal. Mine are coming in horizontal and they are putting A LOT of pressure on all my other teeth. I can see the crowns of the bottom ones. I saw a video on youtube with people being all high on the sleep medicine, and I don't want to get druggy like that! I hate drugs! :( Also, thank to everyone for all the advice, and sorry about all the questions/worries!

Wisdom tooth surgery and Workouts!!!!
Okay! I'm hoping to get right back to working out though. I just started this program, and I'm on a roll, and I don't want to stop. But I know I have to get these teeth out.... They are coming in horisontal (ew...)

Wisdom tooth surgery and Workouts!!!!
I NEED to get my teeth extracted. They hurt. BAD. But I have been doing a vigorous strength training routine with cardio and all that stuff and I pretty mu work out every day. I'm afraid that taking a week off from lifting will jeopardize my gains and I don't want to have to feel weak when I suddenly go back to working out. My question is: WHAT DO I DO? What is the best way to go about this? HELP!!

Tell me your success stories eating at your Basal Metablic Rate+
At one point I was eating more than my bmr (not sure how much, maybe 500kcal or more?) and running several times a week and I still lost weight. I know it seems like a jump, but I think you will be just fine eating your bmr, as long as its nice, good nom noms. :) And plus, if your exerciseing, you might even have to have more (eee, I know, it seems scary but just try it, I did, and so far its working). Oh also: FUN FACT The breathing, blinking and thinking you do each day use about 70% of your total daily calories I read that in a book today. yay learning :)

Exercise

$... buys a lot of bacon, i.e. happiness. happiness > HCG :) Although, I do have to say I disagree with the "not all diets or programs work for everyone" comment. I think they do for the most part, as long as they are implemented correctly.
Can we add peanut butter to that bacon?
and eggs!

Protein Bars - Good or Bad?
@noleachick Thanks for the link! I will look at it, I read the first few things already and it looks interesting, this is a forum I should sign up for... @Marlborow Man I remember reading the post about milk, and I have since switched to milk post workout. But since I still have a massive tub of whey that I paid $50 for, I have been mixing that with milk so it doesn't go to waste @greep I think you are right, I should have whey/milk right after and then 40 min later have the bar as the MEAL replacement. I think I was using the par as a post workout snack, instead of using something that absorbs quickly. @kstubblefield I agree, I have been having them too frequently and that is definatly a bad thing! Main reason being, my Dad has been out of town, and there is literally no food in the house (1 large egg, 2 pieces of celery, ... erm... that's really about it). I suppose the best way to solve this problem is to go food shopping.... now! lol. Hermiones Mom Thanks for the link! I'm going to look at it after I post this and print it to go food shopping! THANKS YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSES! i APPRECIATE IT IMMENSELY!!!

Protein Bars - Good or Bad?
thank you guys for the info! I will take it into consideration! Also, does anyone have good experience with these bars for gaining lean muscle mass? Many people say to gain muscle, its best to eat clean. My fear is that I will mess up my hard work at the gym with these things... Aftter all, I want muscle, not fat! And idk if these bars have the right nutrients, ingredients, etc...

Protein Bars - Good or Bad?
Lately I've been having those meal replacement Power Protein, Etc, Bars and I was wondering other people's thoughts on them. Some people say they have a lot of sugar, but after workouts, aren't you supposed to spike you blood sugar? Some people say they have a lot of fat, but don't we need some fat in our diets? I'm afraid that these stupid bars will add more fat than muscle, and I DO NOT want any more fat on me. I'd rather eat clean, but I have been having them lately for convenience. I just feel bad because they are so processed. MAIN QUESTION: ANY THOUGHTS, FEEDBACK, EXPERIENCE, OR SUGGESTIONS REGARDING THESE BARS??
