Beginner Runner
Oh one other thing, running shoes are very important as well. There are some stores depending on your area that will fit you with the proper running shoes.

Beginner Runner
Couch to 5k is one of the most popular programs for new runners. Couc... to 5k Focus on one or the other when improving, either distance or speed. Also remember the 10% rule as well to prevent injury, never increase more then 10%.

I need a sports bra!!
I use Shock Absorber bras, the "B5044" model, to be specific for my DD's. I have others but I keep using my Shock Absorber bras as I find them the most comfortable, I bought 3 of the same one!

DON'T DO CARDIO - Must Read!
To disprove the "ancestors didn't jog", early form of hunting required persistence running which is still done today in some tribes.
During the persistence hunt an antelope, such as a kudu, is not shot or speared from a distance, but simply run down in the midday heat. Depending on the specific conditions, hunters of the central Kalahari will chase a kudu for about two to five hours over 25 to 35 km (16 to 22 mi) in temperatures of about 40 to 42 °C (104 to 108 °F). The hunter chases the kudu, which then runs away out of sight. By tracking it down at a fast running pace the hunter catches up with it before it has had enough time to rest in the shade. The animal is repeatedly chased and tracked down until it is too exhausted to continue running. The hunter then kills it at close range with a spear.
DON'T DO CARDIO - Must Read!
Anyone bother looking up this "doctor", he's like an 'infomercial' doctor trying to sell his crap and make money. Another doctor with a fool proof diet plan.......

Seafood?
I eat mostly chicken and seafood, absolutely love any kinds of fish like salmon. Had a piece of steak last night and I'm suffering right now, I find red meat too heavy. Favorite meal the other night, whole wheat pasta with pesto sauce and a salmon fillet. I also enjoy brown rice with either black beans or chick peas. Stay away from anything "white", the refined carbs, always go whole wheat/brown. Eat slowly too and small portions. Record it all, it's the only way you're going to know how much you're taking in. Be honest with yourself.

Am I too heavy to jog?
Watch this video, it tells you all you need to know. Most importantly is foot strike. Avoid heel strike as much as possible, this is where you get all sorts of injuries, you want fore foot strike. Erika is right, running isn't traumatic on the joints, it's how you run.

WHAT IS YOUR VIEW???
So I take in about 1200 calories a day on average, not done purposely but what I eat ends up always seems to add up to 1200 a day. Proof is in my diet calendar if you want to see. Now I haven't seen any adverse health effects, I actually feel better. The 1200 calories I eat, the majority are healthy calories that are filling like quinoa, rice and beans. So *some* can eat 1200 calories a day but it's not for everyone like Erika stated. And the 1200 calories a day that you choose can still provide you with the proper nutrients if you choose them wisely. One other thing, I do have hypo-thyroid that is slightly acting up at the moment. They do say that people with hypo-thyroid should take in 200 calories less then what is recommended. Oh and I do run as well long distance every other day.

Why You Should Ditch The Tunes While Running
I only run with my nano in the gym on the treadmill. When I run outside, I can't listen to music but prefer to listen to what's going on around me. I enjoy being outside running and to me part of it is taking the sounds of the outdoors in as well.

So demoralized right now...Dress does not fit!
There's not much you can do unless you go get breast reductions. If they are causing health issues such as back pain, it might be something to consider. But if the only thing they're causing you is to be miserable about not wearing certain dresses, then find a dress that your breasts look good in. And yes I'm speaking from experience as I'm top heavy as well and there are many days where I wish I was flat as a board but I'm stuck with them. I look at all those spaghetti strap dresses and tank tops knowing that I can never wear them without things popping out. But I've learned to live with them as they aren't going to go anywhere (but down with gravity eventually). :) Be proud you have lost weight, that in itself is an accomplishment and maybe it's time you treat yourself to a new dress!

Snacks!!!
Is it that time of month possibly for you? I know that when I'm PMS'ing, I will continuely snack and I can't stop! But I include that in my calorie intake and compensate for the snacking. Figure out why you have cravings and then you will be able to understand the urges better.

Natra-bio Thyroid Support?
I have lived with hypothyroid for 25 years now, don't rely on thyroid medication to 'magically' take off your weight. It still comes down to what you're eating and how much you exercise. For people like us with hypothyroid, we should be more aware of what we put in our mouth though in that carbs are our worse enemy.

Shin splints
Anyone have a 'failproof' remedy to get rid of shin splints? I know how I got them, now I want to get rid of them so I can get back to running.
