What to do for breakfast when you don't like eggs?
My favorite is considered a little "odd" by some people but it is my favorite breakfast (fast and easy too). Depending on what type of English muffins you use, it is only about 3 points (give or take) 1/2 of an English muffin Spicy/brown mustard 1 heated slice of Canadian Bacon This is especially yummy with a good cup of coffee! :-)

If you are following WW then that is what the flexies are for, a little cheat at some point during the week :-) But don't go crazy!!! Personally for me, once I "start" to indulge, I can't stop. But you may have more self control than I do, hahahaha.

Desk Snacks - What are your Favorites
Kashi bars (I like the chewy ones) they are a good source of protein and fiber, which help during afternoon "nap attacks", and they are yummy too. I think they are about 3 pts apiece? Babybel (light) low or non-fat yogurt

yeah but I have a special event tonight (I work with wine & food) that is going to have a dinner prepared and I have NO idea what will be there...kinda need to save my points for that. I'm just venting out my craving, LOL...maybe if I talk about it, it will go away ;-)

I like the person who put in bacon...TWICE, hehehe... 1. FF milk 2. FF or lowfat yogurt 3. Arrowheat Double Fiber wheat bread (GREAT on points too!) 4. Babybel light little cheese round thingmabobs 5. Variety of Kashi items 6. Eggs 7. Canadian Bacon 8. High Fiber oatmeal 9. Herbal teas (trying to kick my caffeine/coffee habit too) 10. Water! Notice I didn't list a SINGLE vegetable or fruit? LOL... pathetic ;-)

I don't want to be a buzz kill, but...
Like others I'm hoping to find a kinder, warmer crowd here (just signed up to FS). I personally never had any problems on the WW forums but I agree they could be VERY harsh on others. I think they viewed it as a "tough love" sorta thing, but let's face it...more often than not we are already too hard on ourselves, which is probably a reason WHY we got to be point of needing to lose weight! LOL

Weight Watchers
I'm kind of the camp that I think INITIALLY, going to meetings is a good idea. It sort of lays the groundwork, and allows an immediate and educated response to any questions that might come up. I was a meeting member for about 4 months and it really helped me get a jump-start. Now I'm experimenting with going at it on my own (like some others here, it was a strain on my monthly budget). That said, I think as long as you are brutally honest with yourself about your points, I think you can do it on your own (with either online support or friends). Just remember though, you do kinda have to be hard on yourself -- if you cheat, you are only cheating yourself!!! Better to be tough now and reap the benefits down the road! :-)

I am new...
Buddy me up girlfriend! I JUST signed on! :-) I am 34, no kids, no man (which means NO ONE to tell me what to cook, muahahhaha, I have a real advantage here). I work with wine and food (rich, fatty European food) so I really need to learn healthier habits NOW! How DOES one do a buddy thing here? Still learning to navigate the site...
