Clothing Exchange???
I thought I would take a poll to see who would be interested in a clothing exchange. Actually, it is [url=http://fatsecret.com/memb... idea but I thought I would run with it I was thinking that a group could be created and from there each topic would be divided into sizes and anyone who would like to put items up can and the person getting the items would pay to have it shipped (through paypal, soooo easy!) In order to "buy" an item and item must be posted but does not have to be the same size and it is up to the "seller" to verify that the "buyer" posted an item. If an item was not posted it would be up to the "seller" if they wanted to deal with said "buyer". Only those interested need apply. Thanks!

I have to say a big SORRY to my [b]trailblazers[/b]:( ! Other then some walking and by some I really mean very little and by very little I mean none. This Saturday I am walking two miles for the MS walk so maybe between that and what I do this week... I am sorry I let you guys down! My mom was in hospital and the whole week was a mess! [b]1) Where are you from?[/b] Cleveland, OH! I grew up in a suburb (Lakewood) and have lived all over the city of Cleveland and have since moved back to Lakewood [b]2) Favourite recipes?[/b] Turkey Chili! When Kraft and South Beach were tight (and by tight I mean you did not have to sign up for SB's website to get the good recipes, Kraft had a mini version of the SB website with recipes) I got this recipe and it is so easy! I added it to my cookbook but the counts are slightly higher. :idea: The recipe is: Brown [b]2lbs ground turkey [/b](you can use ground beef, too) in a pot then drain water and grease, put back into pot and add 1 [b]Jar of Salsa [/b](any kind, regular size), 1 large can of [b]crushed tomatoes[/b], 2 cans of [b]black beans[/b], 1 med size can of [b]tomato sauce[/b] (this is optional) and enough [b]tomato paste[/b] to thicken it up. Serve with fat free sour cream or low fat shredded chesse. Yum-O! [b]3) Grocery Must Haves?[/b] CUCUMBERS!!!! Pickles, turkey breast, eggs, cherry tomatoes, Cheese (glorious, cheese). [b]4) What other "diets" have you tried?[/b] I did Atkins and lost 25 lbs and then got pregnant so I just associate the two now and can never go back, lol. It is so much easier to grab something then to make it myself the right way, lol.... or let my husband "grab" something for dinner knowing full well he will get fast food. My action: Cook more! My choices: Insist that if my husband does pick up dinner to get me a salad or nothing. It is easier to make something for myself in a hurry then to make something satisfying for both of us when I don't feel like it. It is crazy to see the difference in numbers! Don't get me wrong... I am sticking to SB! I tried WW for about two weeks and all that counting and I was still hungry sent me into this whole stress eating thing and I gained instead of loss :lol: It really is interesting none the less to see the differences and the similarities. But I like to eat and counting points just ruins it for me, lol.

Since, the new diet calendar has a slew of information totally visible in an easy to read format I thought, ":idea: Why not see what the whole WW thing is all about?" Looking through my diet calendar, I saw that when I was in control of what I was eating and doing well (i.e. losing weight) my WW points were between 25 - 28! My magic WP number is 31! Don't get me wrong... some days I had 40 WW points but my carb count and calorie count were still low. I guess those would be the days to use the free points! It was interesting to see that the WW and SB diets seem to be fairly close in many aspects which I am sure is why the two diets are always at the top for diets on FS. Wow! Thanks for all the wonderful ideas! I ended up going to LaneBryant and plopped down $90 for a pant suit that I did not even wear because of the snow storm! :lol: Oh well! I also found [url=http://www.avenue.com]ave... they seem to have reasonably priced clothes, too!

If obesity is at an all time high in America why is it that I cannot find a dress?
I know this seems like a silly post but honestly, I cannot find an outfit that A. fits right and B. will not break the bank! I have to go to a wedding and I hate shopping. I am fat. I am not ashamed of that I use to celebrate it! (Then again, I was a size 14 and it was more curves then flab, lol.) Nevertheless, when I go to certain stores I feel as if I am an elephant trying on tube tops! [IMG]http://i258.photobucket.c... I have found plenty of stores and websites that cater to undies and things... [url=http://www.alwaysforme.co... for Me[/url], [url=http://www.henryandjune.c... and June (a personal fave)[/url] and [url=http://www.jms.com/]Just My Size[/url]. Granted JMS has clothes but honestly... who can really build a decent collection from them who is not over the age of dead. There is, of course, [url=http://lanebryant.charmin... Braynt[/url], but they can get expensive and I refuse to believe that they are the only store out there that caters to real woman (aka plus size woman). I do shop at [url=http://www.oldnavy.com]Ol... Navy[/url] often because they are reasonable but most of their selection is on line and you are chancing the fit. [url=http://www.gap.com]Gap[/u... has an okay good selection, but since they are the expensive, "older sister" version of Old Navy, again it is not good on the old purse strings and not a huge selection.
