What Causes Constipation?
Stool softeners like Docusate sodium or docusate calcium work well, too. They draw water into the stool to make it easier to pass. Take 1 or 2 before bed and have productive "quality time" on the toilet in the AM.

Atkins vs South Beach
I have done both diets in the past and found Atkins too restrictive. South Beach was easier for me. I love onions and tomatoes and nuts which were all OK on SB but not on Atkins. There are other diets that encourage you to eat fruits....but if it is Atkins, you should look for haas avocados--the smaller ones with the bumpy skin rather than the larger smooth skinned ones. I did like the Adkins shakes but the bars were not very tasty to me. You can probably have the shakes shipped to you. I hope this is helpful and I wish you buena suerte!

fat smash slow losers
The first time I did fat smash, I lost 9lbs in phase 1. I will be done with phase 1 on Sunday, I lost 4lbs before I joined fatsecret, and we will see on Sunday. Bottom line: if you follow the diet, you will lose weight. Watch your portions, eat often, and exercise. You will do fine! If you can stand it, don't weigh yourself until day 9. The first time I did the diet, I waited and was blown away by 9lbs. This time, I'm addicted to weighing myself everyday.

WORK OUT-UNDER GARMENTS (ladies)
I wear biker shorts to avoid the dreaded workout weggie! They are cheap and if they do ride, you don't have to dig in your crack to get them out....you just pull at the leg.

What to Eat
Yes. Managed to have sardines once in the last two weeks. Not that keen on them but will manage. Haven't done the lever though.
