I have been having the same problem. My conclusion is that I'm going to work on my abs every time I work out. I have started at 300 sit ups and some times I do 400. You can mix it up or just do one type. It really is not that hard. I think I am starting to see some results. good luck

You know I thought the same thing. I know that if you over do it on the splenda that is all you will taste so I just went with 1 1/2 cups and it still had the taste of splenda so I would have said to just add 1 1/4 cups and test that but you have already made it so what I did was to top it with other stuff like frozen whipped cream SB of course and chopped walnuts or pecans that was very good! good luck

Carbs in Phase 2?
Funny cause I asked the same question at the beginning of the week and someone replyed with "try out one at a time if it starts to slow your weight loss then switch it up and eat less of that thing fruit or bread. Because every one is different in the way we matabilise food so you have to reintroduce each one slowly. Sorry no concrete answer. But as far as the bannana I think that I read that they should be banned through the rest of your life because thay have toooo much sugar (may-be just half is what I say):)

Phase 1 SBD Buddy?
No, that is not cheating that's perfectly fine. Any combo of meats(You know what I mean of the lean, no sugary type) and most cheeses (again lower fat) is great I do the same thing some times. I really like eggs but since I have been on phase 1 for almost 2 weeks I am getting tired of them. Thankfully Klow (on this site) gave me a recipe for green chili cassarole a couple of years ago and I almost live on it. It's like a chili rieno but in cassarole form and a bit spicy. I wish you willpower, you are doing great!:)

Love your closing phrase (seriously working on me) That is a great start. As for the snack foods there are a lot of them you just have to go out and get em. What I mean is do the research like on this site you sort through and put the recipes into your cookbook. The hard part is making what you say your going to make, I struggle with this. I go to the store and get all the ingredients and say I'll make that tomarrow, well then it ends up spoiling (trying to get better at that). I find that it does help to get a large amount of recipes in your cookbook that you can draw from. Try it lots of the ideas are deliscious. lots of luck

HELP! am starting SB tomorrow and need some HAVE TOS to stay on track
You know it will be a bit of a challenge to get started but, if you just deny the craving to give in you will see it does get easier, I promise it worked for me (not that I am where I want to be but I am working on it). Just stock your cupboards and fridge with SB friendly foods and put the things you can't eat in a draw away from your view (this helps a lot). Don't get board with you menu check out some of the recipes here there are soo many and lots of them are very tasty. I wish you willpower.

From what I remember reading in the book about 3 1/2 yrs ago you are not supposed to eat cereal,fruite,pasta,potatoes,b... goods,processed goods (Fatty lunchmeat)and a whole list of other things. The list of things you CAN eat is smaller 1.lean meat 2.Veggies (cept tatas) 3.Water 4.yeah I think that covers it 5. oh yeah don't for get sugar free foods (in moderation) This is phase 1 in a nut shell Oh yea nut!
