Vitamins & Supplements
I take GNC Mult -Gel Vitamins. No vitamin burps and free of corn for us allergy sufferers! I also use Milled/Ground Flax seed. I put a couple TBSP in my oatmeal in the AM. It is suppose to lower cholesterol by binding with it and carring it out rather than allowing absorbtion. Vegetarian Omega-3 too. Hope that helps!

A little challenge
I'll do the Diet soda challenge but I can't give up my coffee....not yet anyway!! I'm clearing out the soda from the fridge and replacing it with bottled water!! I'll work on the coffee after my induction phase...I know...it's a no no!! :(

Thanks for the suggestions. I do need to drink more water. I also read that decreased estrogen causes lowered production of collegen which in turn creates saggy, thinned skin. My next yearly I'm going to have him check hormone levels on me. There are foods that increase estogen, such as soy, so I'm going to try to implement that in my diet too. Anyone ever try Tofu?

I got huge while pregnant with both of my kids...any tips for loose saggy skin? Vitamins? Skin care products? ANYTHING?!!!

Question: Yogurt
My South Beach Diet book says you are to avoid all dairy in Phase 1. No milk, no yogurt, no soy milk. You can have low fat or fat free cheese in Phase 1. Yogurt is in the foods to add back in Phase 2.

Anyone have good snack ideas?
I slice up 1/2 an apple and dip it in a tablespoon of peanut butter. It's delicious! Taste similar to a taffy apple with nuts. YUM!

I found a great collection of recipes!
I bought Low Carb Creations cookbooks and have tried numerous recipes and love them all! Entrees, Desserts, Side Dishes...anything your looking for. They list which phase the recipe is for and use ingredients you have in your house! You can buy them off of eBay or at www.4yourgood.com. I got all 4 and I'm very happy with my purchase! :d

Go to Kitchen tab. There is a search on the right side. Just put in Banana Muffins and it should bring it up.

Anyone Else Having Problems Posting Recipes On Here?
I had a problem with there ingedient list. It only allowed Splenda packets not the spoonable type. It took me 3 tries and now I don't know how to delete my first 2! Maybe were both idiots!! :lol:

I don't care for them much either. I would throw some frozen onion, gr pepper and red pepper in and saute it first. Pour the scrambled eggs over that and add some low fat cheese when they are almost done. Still eggs but better than the plain ones! Also try the "mock french toast". Still eggs but with a twist! :)

Smoking
I smoked for 20+ years before becoming pregnant with our first child. I packed on 80 lbs with that pregnancy, 60 lbs with my second child and only have 10 lbs to go to get back down to pre-pregnancy weight. Haven't had a smoke in close to 4 years so it can be done!! Just find something else to keep you busy...like 2 kids!! Good luck!:)
