How can I deal with my diet addiction?
Has anyone checked this "person's" bio?? There are some strange posts..and that's all that is there are weigh ins or anything...

Could fasting or skipping meals help me lose weight?
What it comes down to lose weight you need to regularily burn more calories on a daily basis than's simple math!! Eating in regular intervals maintains the effeciveness of your metabolism (not speed it up or slow it down)...think of it as your internal order to keep you going, you need to keep it it's up to you what sort of food you put into your body (as per the calroic intake )

I’m a 35 year old woman and I hate cooking. How can I lose weight fast?
Those cleanses will be OK for a temp solution...but go back to your regular habits and you'll find the weight will make it's way back onto the a few extra lbs!! THE ONLY WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT AND KEEP IT OFF...unfortunately you are going to have to "cook"...but do it in a different way!! Purchase already cooked chicken, a ceaser salad(make sure the dressing is less than 3g sugar per serving) and poof...there's lunch. I have a small family, so it's like I'm cooking for myself as well (one child is still taking a bottle, and the other only likes kraft dinner and cheese sandwhiches!! my husband will eat the same as me, but somenights he's not into it) It took me awhile, but I have a little arsenal of recipes that are quick and easy...most take less than 15mins to do, and I don't stray too far away from them! (i even have a few sweet treats there too!) To want to lose weight(and stay healthy) but not be willing to cook for yourself is kind of really can't have one without the other.

South Beach Diet Salad Dressings
I am in the process of posting a few dressing recipes from South Beach, that are great. Though it's the convenience of having the whole bottle..I make just enough for a week or 2, and it doesn't take long to make them either...and it's using items that if you are on south beach, you should have in your pantry anyhow! I find store bought dressings to vinegary or something..the only dressing I like is Ranch from a bottle...other than that I make all of mine. I hope the recipes will help

lemon water in the morning anyone?
I add lemon or lime to my water, stricktly to change it up...sometimes water gets boring...also, try cucumber slices...very summery!

Sometimes I'll put a squirt of lime into the water...I have read that it's a good aid to weight loss.

I am a 33yr old stay at home mom, just had my 2nd(and final)child 7 weeks ago, and really need to shed this baby weight! I had used the sbd before getting pregnant the 2nd time, but was still about 20lbs heavier the second time around...I actually hit the 200lb mark the last week of pregnancy!!(yikes) I'm looking forward to using this site, as I like to look back at my days and see how well(or not) I am doing, and to keep motivated!! I use the Quick and Easy SouthBeach Cookbook, and I love all the recipes in there!!(I even had to re-tape the pages!!)

Do you eat all your calories?
I eat around 10-12 carbs/day ... it easy to keep track if you use the calculator on site ... you don't have to weigh anything its all been done for you ...if you don't keep track its much harder ...
