Did anybody take measurements before their weight loss journey began?
Interesting how the scale can stand still, but your measurements can still decrease and increase. Any stories? Thoughts?

Hi Everyone!
Sorry Kim, I missed a few important points in your bio while trying help my daughter with math- multi-tasking failure. I just noticed that your kids are probably out of the chicken nugget and goldfish stage- but I suspect you still cook for them;) Also, I strained my neck last year, so bad that I spent a good deal of the summer in bed with migraines stemming from my upper back. It was depressing. I feel for you. I bought an inexpensive band exercizer from Walmart and have been trying to increase my upper body strength without re-straining my neck. I like the idea of muscle burning fat while I rest! All the best, liz

Hi Everyone!
Hey Kim- I'm in the same boat ,sista! Will be 39 on 8-8, am at 172 now, had hit 201 pregnant 8 years ago and man, weight barely CREEPS off. I'm shooting for 145. I'm a low carber, and what worked for me SO well 10 years ago for the wedding- doesn't now- apparently I can't have as much fat in my diet now and it work. I just joined this week and haven't been able to show for all the food planning I am doing- but LAST week I dropped 4 pounds. Whatever diet you are on, try to use their food diary-it's really easy-and if your honest with yourself you can see where you need to improve. If you are like me, you try to pop a taste of everything you cooked for the kids and pretend it didn't count cause you are standing up!lol, Liz

Anybody on Protein Power?
What a cool site! I would have put myself into the Adkins category, but I am not sure of the differences. I love the Diet Calendar- it made me just realized that with my really low carb intake, that I am enjoying quite a bit of fat and calories. Hmmm. Anybody's thoughts on this-
