Does "burning protein" cause a higher calorie burn than "burning carbs"?
I disagree with the whole calories in and out rules .Since I started eating real food only and quit counting my calories I quit gaining weight or struggling with cravings or binges. I think your body processes real foods that are natural without all the antibiotics/hormones etc completely different then store bought or processed foods. GMOs, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, processed food and all these grain fed only animals are what is killing us.

I actually do better with certain food mixes like eating 1/2 a cup of cottage cheese with a cup of diced veggies. Or my spring mix salad with chicken, walnuts, cheese and a drizzle of BBQ sauce. So between the protein and large array of veggies with some healthy fats is what is keeping me feeling full and keeping me slim.

It's my turn!
What make it complicated? Cook a meat such as chicken and throw some frozen veggies in to cook and have a fruit with dinner. Or on the weekends when you have some time off prepare some crockpot meals or casseroles and freeze them until you need them. Sometimes I will even cook a few different meats on Sunday and just warm them up with some veggies, rice or fruit as sides through the week. We are gone 3 nights a week at activities plus church on Sundays and occasionally tournaments on saturdays. Just takes a little planning.

You could take the fried chicken and peel the skin and add it to your salad too. Also maybe you could get like pita bread or tortilla shells and use meat and veggies in one of them.

The best advice I have is if people didn't eat it 100 years ago, it's probably not wise to now. Real whole foods are always the way to go. I like to keep it simple. Check out the site undressedskeleton. tumblr. com lots of great ideas there. I just add meat! :) good luck

Oddly you might try chewing gum after eating to see if that helps you to not have as high of a desire to eat. Sometimes I just try tricking my brain. Sometimes I want to eat even when I am not hungry and I just keep having to tell myself no. Other times even when I feel like I have eaten a sufficient amount I still feel hungry but I just wait to see if my full signal just needs to catch up. Hope my blabbering made a little sense.

If you like T.V get a hula hoop or weights and workout while watching it. Then you aren't giving anything up either! Any moving is better than sitting.

Omelets
Since my family has a history of high cholesterol I have 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites with a splash of Almond milk. I then add any number of things depending on what sounds good. Cheese, greek yogurt, salsa, any type of veggies. Making me hungry just thinking about it.

1300 cals for instance on weight watchers would work out to something like 39 points so you really eat more on WW than you think, plus you are allowed 49 extra points to do what you like.

You can input her recipe in your fat secret cookbook, make sure you put in the # of servings. It will give you the calories etc. It does sound like a yummy treat.
