What is legal on Phase 1
Thanks so much! I love my pasta so this will be a great substitute.

What is legal on Phase 1
I want to try spaghetti squash with no-sugar-added spaghetti sauce thinking that it was approved during Phase 1 of the SBD. But on the southbeachdiet.com website, I think it is listed as a phase 2 food. Does anyone know for sure - I could have sworn I saw it in the Supercharged book as phase 1 but now I can't find it. Thanks!

Is membership on Southbeach.com recommended?
Thank you all for your input! I took the plunge and started the diet yesterday using only the book. Went to Barnes and Noble Friday night hoping to find a SBD cookbook that would use more convenience foods but the recipes were just as complicated as the ones in the main book. I find it to be a little too vague regarding portion sizes for most things but will limp along and if I don't lose weight, I will figure that I am eating too much.

Is membership on Southbeach.com recommended?
I am thinking about doing the Southbeach Diet because belly fat is my problem - I think all 15 pounds that I have lost on my own diet have come from my face - lol. Anyway, I am purchasing the book tomorrow and wondered if a membership in the Southbeach.com website was worth it. Any thoughts?

WHY
I know. I love chocolate too. The chocolate flavored Fiber One bars help get me through a strong craving. They are like candy bars for me now except that is usually what I have for breakfast.

PLEASE can everyone list there "stay on track " tips of the day?
I look closely at the calories that are in the food I am craving and make a decision if it is worth it to "undo" the calories burned doing whatever exercise I have done (like my spinning class that kicks me in the butt). My answer is usually "no" and I find a low-calorie alternative to what was tempting me. 100 calories of roasted/salted almonds instead of chips, fat-free yogurt instead of pudding or ice cream, my homemade pizza using Flat-Out wraps for a crust instead of Pizza Hut (okay that one isn't the greatest replacement but I've decided it is worth it). I also stop myself and make sure I am really hungry and not just bored.

Nutritional information for Applebee's
I am trying to find the exact nutritional information for a new item on Applebee's menu. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Pasta today. I see someone has entered the Teriyaki Shrimp Pasta into the Fatsecret database so the information must be out there somewhere. However, my searches on the web have been fruitless. :?

Exercise music - what are you listening to?
"Like a G6" by Far East Movement is a popular one in my spinning class and almost anything by the Black Eyed Peas.

ECO Atkins for a skinny vegetarian with a belly
This would be a good question for the nutritionist over on the atkins.com boards. Colette Heimowitz is her name. Post your question with her name in the title and she will respond.

Fruit
Can you do yogurt? A friend recommended to me plain yogurt with splenda mixed in. Maybe try that with some berries. I've been putting frozen raspberries in my protein shake.
