New Member -- where do I set up profile
Good Morning and Welcome! To set up your profile, click on the Fat Secret tab at the top left of the page. Then scroll down until you see "My Toolbox" on the bottom right of the page. This is where you can set up your profile, your diet etc. Once you have navigated the site for a while, it becomes fairly easy. Good Luck on your Journey!

Asterisk
It simply means that you have not checked the box on your food diary and/or exercise diary that indicates this is all your food or exercise for the day. FS defaults to this is some of what I ate, until you change it.

Exercise Entry
As you enter your exercise, you be able to replace resting and sleeping times with your exercise times. Your hours of exercise will always add up to total 24 hours, and will always include resting and sleeping. It is up to you to replace them with actual exercise. Welcome to the site, you will find a lot of help here!

Although I have been a member of FS since early 2010, this is my very first post. I have just changed my profile today to enable all to view my diet calendar etc. When I first started here, I was simply looking for an easy way to calorie count, as I had been told that I was not consuming enough calories per day, and therefore was stalled in a starvation mode. Little did I realize how much help & support are available here. I do not spend a lot of time on the computer, but, FS is a must every day. To all of you fellow FS members - THANK YOU for all of the tips and help you have provided. I read a post just this week about how important it is to do your food & exercise calendars every day, and, I realized that even though my weight has been up & down during my time here, maybe someone out ther might benefit from my experiences, as I have benefited from others. Any comments or help you have to offer will be greatly appreciated and accepted in the same spirit it is given.

IMO, any diagnosis like this should come with a referral to a dietician so that you understand what would work for you. You may want to contact your MD to get a referral. Best wishes!

12 US size, working on going down to 8US and losing 22lbs. Lost 4.4lbs so far :)
