Enjoying the holidays! HALLOWEEN WEEKEND!
Why don't you throw a Halloween bash for you and your friends? I don't have children at all, but still love to celebrate. We have already been to one Halloween Party (last weekend) and are going to another tomorrow night. I am going as Goth Tinkerbelle.

Can running be taught?
I started running about a year and a half ago. I was smoking then and couldn't even run around our block when I started. That was about April. By October I ran my first 5k and had quit smoking. Looking for some buddies
I also need buddies. Was also on weight watchers and need to get back into it. My short term goal is to loose 5 lbs so I can start running again. I don't think my body can take is until I do. My biggest weakness is the weekends....

Just keep your mouth shut sometimes!
I think it is very important to pick your fights. And sometimes it helps to just keep your mouth shut. I have found that if you give love, you get love back. :d

A good way to calculate how many calories one should consume to lose weight is to multiply your current weight by 11 then subtract 500.

Tips
So I decided I would not only help myself, but also everyone else who would like to read my findings. My new goal (on top of loosing weight) is to look up a new fact/tip every weekday and post it. Today's tip is 4 ways to raise your metabolic rate: 1. Eat more often 2. Exercise more often 3. Drink more water 4. Get enough sleep (the recommended 8 hours). Thanks for reading!

What to Eat
Yes. Managed to have sardines once in the last two weeks. Not that keen on them but will manage. Haven't done the lever though.

Anyone doing 5:2
Also, remember that that's only 5 days a week. The other two days you have only 500 calories. That's 1200 a day on average. It's being able to eat 2000 on NFDs that makes the diet work.
