Trying to get back to my former self.
Hi Beans. Welcome! This site is so great. I have only been here 2 weeks but I have learned so much. I also gained weight a couple years after having my daughter. This site is full of great info and the support you will receive is priceless. Also, there are some great challenges you can join. The challenges have a lot of info and support also. My favorite thing has been being able to enter all my food and exercise info and see where I am going wrong. Good luck!

Avoiding people when your weight is up
I avoid people like crazy. I live in a small town and all the people I went to high school with pretty much still live here too! I was a size 0 when I graduated. I have seen a couple people over the last 2 weeks and both times launched into an explanation of how I gained the weight and that I am on a diet and exercising now. I know they probably just wanted to get away from me. I have missed out on SO much because of the embarrassment I feel about my weight.

2nd day on fat secret
Thanks to all for the support! Congrats Mark - that's a huge loss in a pretty short time. I had never heard of the diet you're on. I feel pretty good today. Have to get exercising though! I have been lazy today. HOw often do you all weigh? I weighed twice yesterday and it made me sad.

2nd day on fat secret
Hi! I am a 31 year old single mother of a 3 year old precious adorable daughter. I had an eating disorder in my teens and early twenties. I never weighed over 130 until my 4th month of pregnancy. I eventually wound up at 192 lbs the day I gave birth. I was often below 100 lbs until I turned 25 which I know was unhealthy. After my pregnancy I lost a lot of the weight. I had some medical complications and surgery a little while after the pregnancy and gained all my weight back. This is the first time I have gotten serious about losing weight since then. I want to have energy and be able to play outside for hours with my daughter and take her to the park and just be a good role model. I also want to be healthy about my weight loss and not slip back into bingeing and purging. Basically I stay at home a lot because I am embarrassed about how I look. I don't have a support system here because I - it's a long story but the online community is the only support I have right now. If anyone needs a buddy to help stay motivated let me know! Good luck to everyone.

My MP3 player broke the day I started my diet!
I spent HOURS making the perfect workout playlist. Then the battery went dead but I can't get the thing to charge at all for some reason. Of course it's some special battery so I have to find out if I can get a replacement. I hate riding the bike and exercising in general without my music. Today I sat my laptop next my stationary bike and blasted some songs but my daughter didn't like that. I had to cut the whole ride short because of her tantrum(she's weird about what kind of music she listens to-she's only 3 though). Oh well at least I got a little over 20 minutes in.

Errr, you are on the website now? Do you mean the info you submitted on the (stolen) phone? Unless the application on the phone and the web account were synched, then I don't think you can.

Atkins misconceptions
Like politics, sex and religion, I tend to avoid the subject of diet plans. People have their own views (right or wrong) and it often seems to end up with everyone getting emotional and no ever leaves ...

food calander
Put the food in a Recipe (far right). then once that is done, you can add it to your plan. Otherwise, you can put the components in, but better to do recipes.

Veggies, veggies and more veggies. The more I eat the more I lose! I've been making lots of soup with lots of veggies and ground turkey or cubed cooked chicken.
