Stuck and considering supplements...Ideas?
I've been stuck at the same weight for a few months, changed my exercise routine and lowered my calories. I'm considering taking a caffeine supplement of some kind. Hey, don't judge...Jillian Michaels stood by it on The Biggest Loser on Tuesday. Does anyone have any opinions or suggestions on the matter?

Has anyone used the Runkeeper fat loss app?
I've been using the Runkeeper for fat loss app for approximately two weeks. I've tried to find testimonies of people that have used the app and had good results but I haven't found any. I'm looking for any feedback whether you trained with it to run a 5k, 10k, half marathon or whatever. I guess I'll feel better knowing that someone else has tried it and felt good about the program. Losing weight is one of the hardest things I've ever done
I keep waiting to see a drop in pounds. 2 lbs is the most I've ever lost in a week and within the three months that has only happened twice.

I can't thank all of you enough. Knowing that 41 is no big thing when it comes to losing weight. Once again my FS friends have given me the ammunition I need to continue to try to reach my goals. Thank you all so much!!

Losing weight is one of the hardest things I've ever done
My fat secret friends I am 41 and every year I've told myself that I'm going to get into the best shape of my life in order to maintain myself as I age. Well, I've changed my eating habits, I'm exercising and I'm finding that this is the HARDEST thing I've ever done. Three months and I've lost 9 lbs. I don't know if it is more difficult because of how old I am or what. Question: To those of you who have made it to the other side, set a goal and are close to reaching it or those who have reached it and are maintaining it or those who feel the same way I feel now. How did you do it? How long did it take? Did you ever feel this way? Sometimes it's like I'm a hamster on a wheel? What did you do to motivate yourself when all seemed is in vain?

The age old question about stomach exercises...
So FS friends I'm calling on you again to ask about stomach exercises. I've read that targeting the stomach muscles isn't going to help with losing the fat, losing weight helps with losing the fat. Since you can't control where you lose weight is it best to hold off on the stomach exercises? Or should I still be trying to tone the muscle? I've honestly neglected the whole belly area, but now I'm starting to wonder if I should be incorporating it again. Thoughts?

I read the following article http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/... I multiplied my body weight times .37 which at the time was 68.08 of protein. I have NO idea how to cut down on carbs but I'd like to.

I have been doing the research, I know how much protein and fiber I should take in daily, even the amount of fat that I should be having. I've been doing this "lifestyle change" for almost three months and it has been a roller coaster. I past my "all I want to do is eat" phase. I rolled into the "I'm not hungry and not eating enough" phase. Now, I'm doing well with my eating until dinner and then I just want to eat FATTY CRAP food. I had a cheeseburger one day, french fries another, 5 KFC hot wings another day. Could someone please explain that to me?? Am I doing something wrong? Please feel free to check out my food calendar. I don't know what to do about this dilemma. HELP FS friends.
