Before and After, anyone?
Thanks, King! I'm excited that this journey is almost over and I can get into maintenance mode.

Before and After, anyone?
Here's my before & after pic. The boxes in the after pic are kitty litter. Each box weighs 27 pounds and I lost a total of 54. :d [img]http://i.imgur.com/QR8Ue....

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I weigh in each morning but I only record my weight once a week on Thursdays. I don't stress out over day to day fluctuations but I do like to keep myself in check daily.

Indulgence Day Diet users - I need your input.
I didn't lose much weight the week after my first indulgence day (only 0.5 lb) but I did lose 3 lbs the following week. I'm not convinced that my weekly indulgence days aid in my weight loss - but I keep doing them because they aren't hurting my progress AND I get to have goodies once a week. I find it helps me mentally to know that if I'm craving cake or cookies or whatever, I'm never more than 6 days away from getting to have them. Whereas, before, they'd be completely taboo and I'd go crazy with my cravings. I do think it's not for everyone though. You kind of have to have strict self-control to not want to extend indulgence days into indulgence weekends and then into indulgence everyday. I still look forward to indulgence days because I get to treat myself, but sometimes I also dread them because it's hard to fill up all those calories when you're used to eating about half as much.

"Lost weight lifting"
I love this idea! I will have to hunt for something this weekend at the grocery store. It'll most likely be a huge thing of kitty litter.

I'm hovering just over 160 and my goal is 130, so I'm definitely in the same camp as you guys. Feel free to add me!

Weight ticker on posts
I think I read here once that if you update your weight via an app on your phone, the ticker doesn't update. But it will if you do it on a regular computer.

Breakfast Ideas
Didn't know about the egg in a mug trick! Do you have to beat it first like you would making scrambled eggs in a pan?

Finish this sentence - What's made the difference for me:
Counting calories and discovering Zumba! I always hated working out but Zumba is so fun that it almost doesn't feel like exercise even though I sweat up a storm during my 50 mins (5 days a week). I don't think I'm necessarily eating less calories now that I am counting them but I feel better being educated about what each thing I eat "costs" and making wiser choices because of it.

Zumba ur ass away!
AmyKins - I have a 3rd floor apartment so I definitely know what you mean about trying to keep the noise down. I Zumba on a yoga mat and I sure hope that helps cut the noise level of me jumping around. I haven't heard any complaints yet from downstairs so I'll assume it is helping!
