Weight Watchers
I have been on FS for about a year & have recently started using WW points system for more guidance in my food choices. It is working well for me. I have never been to a WW meeting, but my Mom is a Lifetime Member! ;) I found a great website for WW points @ restaurants. Try http://www.dwlz.com/restaurant... There is a lot of info there! Well, I expected the gain today, so I can't complain too much! We had cookouts & parties with family this weekend & I went a little overbord! To say the least! :shock: Anyway, I am back on track today! That's what matters! Back to the gym I go! ;)

This Year vs Last Year
This year I can cross my legs like a lady with NO PROBLEM at all! Last year I would have to catch my foot on something (my hubby's leg or the table in front of me) to keep my legs crossed! :x This year I listen to my body & eat healthy foods to fuel my body. Last year I would eat whatever I wanted with no reservation of what it would do to my body (health or size!)

50 LB WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - WELCOME
Good morning team challenge members! My week had slow progress, but it ended GREAT! Down 3lbs. this week! Yeah! I will take that! It's a miracle that I lost weight this weekend! HALLELUJAH! That's even with having a piece of my niece's birthday cake! :shock: I have been taking the stairs @ work for the last few months & I have been taking the stairs @ home for almost 3 yrs. now! I will estimate that I climbed about 40 sets of stairs in the last week. Hope everyone has a great week!

Down 1.8lbs. this week! 8) I will take that & run with it! I changed up my workout routine this week & my muscles are still screaming @ me! :badgrin: I am sure that I would have loss more, but my muscles are retaining H2O to repair @ this point. Oh, and 2 church meals yesterday didn't help me any either! :? Oh, well! Here's to a new week! Good luck everybody! Keep movin'!!!!!!

Thanks, Jen for the recognition! WOW! Tied for 1st place! No fair! I lost 5.4lbs. in the last 3 weeks! Ranchwoman is the one that deserves 1st place! ;) j/k THANKS to all of my FS friends! Your motivation & encouragment is priceless! :d Weight loss surgery? Well, I would consider the LapBand if I could not manage to control my weight with diet. I don't think that I could go the route of gastric bypass though. I have just taken care of too many patients that had life-threatening complications with the surgery! It's just too risky for me!

Good Monday morning to all! :) I missed all of my FS buddies while I was away! The mission trip was totally successful! God blessed us day after day! I still managed to lose 5.4lbs. in the last 3 weeks! YAY ME! :o It was hard to stay on my diet while I was out of the country, but I managed to keep my weight about the same for those 11 days! It makes me not so scared of maintenance now! Here's to a great week for all of you! Beat the scale! Beat the scale! Beat the scale! :x

Good Monday morning y'all! I have to say that I had a good week this week! 2.6lbs. lost! YAY! :d I did 622min. of exercise this week - the most that I have done since we started this challenge! That includes atleast 35min. of exercises with a resistance band. I feel it in my arms this morning! I hope you all have a great week! I will be leaving this coming Sat. for a mission trip to Madagascar! I will be gone for 11 days ... I am sure to go thru withdrawal from my FS! :cry: Please say a prayer for my team of 22 volunteers! Thank you!

50 LB WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - WELCOME
Hello everyone! I am thrilled with my 1.4lb. loss this week! It could have been more, but I allowed myself to have a small strawberry shortcake on Saturday & a brownie with caramel on Sunday! They were good, but I'm not giving in completely! I have less than 30lbs. to go to my goal & I can see it in sight! :d I am glad to see the resistance training challenge for this week. My hubby just showed me some exercises with a resisitance band this weekend! I am planning on trying those this week! I have been wanting to get some 3 or 5lb. weights, but I think I will try this band first. Best of luck to everyone! Have a blessed week! 8)

50 LB WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - WELCOME
YAY! Awesome week for me! I averaged more than 8 hours of sleep a night & got in 468min. of exercise this week! A great recover from last week! YAY ME! :d To say that I am happy with my 4.2lbs. lost this week would be an understatement! I am sooooooooooooooo excited! :d I actually feel like I have built muscle & it is starting to burn some of this fat off! Excuse me while I jump up & down for a minute ... burning more calories! lol! Here's to a new week & I hope we ALL beat the scales this week! :)

This isn't working!!!
I would suggest lowering your caloric intake to 1200-1400/day, never skip meals & drink a ton of water. Even if you just have a bagel, always eat something. I try to eat every 2-3hours to keep my metabolism going. It's recommended that you drink enough water to equal your weight in kg every day. Divide your weight by 2.2 = #oz. of water that you should drink every day. You are doing a great job with exercise! Just keep moving & you will burn even more calories! Your graph looks great! Keep on beating the scales! :d

50 LB WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - WELCOME
I'm not thrilled with the 0.4lb. loss this week, but I am glad that it's a loss & not a gain! I don't really know what was different about this week. I guess my body didn't want to lose much after the 4lb. loss last week! I am wondering if I have hit a plateau. I have averaged 2-3lb. loss every week for the last 11 weeks & then all I get is 0.4lb.! What's up with that! And it's not even TOM causing all the heartache! I did get in all my water this week & then some. I had 3 liters everyday & 4 liters on some days. Sleep ... Well, I will do my best to get 8 hours every night. I did not know that it affects weight loss as reported. That's something to think about ... Hope everyone has a great week! Here's to a better week of loss for me! ;)

Wii Active is a lot more hardcore than Wii fit. Wii fit is more fun, working out but still has a light game feel. Wii Active is more like having a personal trainer.

Veggies, veggies and more veggies. The more I eat the more I lose! I've been making lots of soup with lots of veggies and ground turkey or cubed cooked chicken.
