I had a similar issue in the past and after some help it's now working fine for me. From what I know, there are two things you may want to look at: (1) These two sites, http://www.fatsecret.com and http://fatsecret.com are actually "different" addresses - you're login will be remembered differently for each of these addresses, so you might need to be consistent with the address you use. (2) There are many browser toolbars, like Google and Yahoo and some antivirus type toolbars, that will automatically delete your cookies/sessions when you leave a site. So if you've got one of these toolbars you may want to take a look at your settings. And then if all else fails you may want to try to delete your "cookies" in your browser and try again... not fun... but try and give it a shot. :roll:

Guys I don't think you're giving the FatSecret team enough credit. They are not stupid and have said they are working on alternative solutions so just give them some time and see. Going postal achieves nothing. I am confident they will find a way through.

Newbies Trying to Exercise Regularly
I suggest a good brisk walk in the evening; about an hour or so after dinner, for about an hour. Added benefit of not sitting on the couch with mindless eating. Get your iPhone/iPod and some music or a good podcast and go for it. IMHO ;)

The exercise journal has to be off!
I was also shocked to see ho many calories you burn pretty much doing... nothing. It highlighted to me that it almost entirely is about how much you consume rather than the uber exercise that you see on Biggest Loser.

do you know how many calories a day you are actually consuming...I am having a major stall myself but try to not eat more than 1200 per day ....1000 is probably better if you want to see the scale move ...

Don't look at the total weight you have to lose. Try to break it down in attainable goals. Start with a goal of 10#, then create a new goal. Then add in exercise. I will walk for 20 minutes 3 days ...

This is tough......I,m spending 90% of my time trying to stay on meal plan and the other 10% going off it.....Resulting in an increase in weight..
