What do you do for Urethra infection symptoms?
Found out that mild estrogen replacement, via vaginal suppository 2x week took away the problem. Being in menopause causes walls of bladder and vag to atrophy, get dry and irritated. The hormone replacement is localized and brings moisture back. I've had no problems since!!!

Alkaline Water
I think this is really sad. The person only asked a simple question, was not selling or making any claims and gets trashed....And stop calling people names, iits childish, it achieves nothing and detracts from the actual topic
Right on Jonny!! You're bang on. I'm totally stunned by the nasty tone and comments in this thread. Shame on you people. Be supportive. If you can't do that then at least be respectful. And goodness if you can't be that, then say nothing or leave the forum. Wow. I'm sorry I read this. It totally un-made my day.

Help! travel for professional reasons. How do I stick to my diet?
Eat burgers and cheese, no bun. Salads with grilled chicken. Temptation is the more difficult challenge.

Food Problem
I totally agree with PeeFat. Eat more protein, fats and veggies. Get off the sugar spike roller coaster than insulin surges cause. This is what gives you cravings (from carb addiction). Once you're off that, food won't be your focus anymore. You'll need to be reminded to eat!!

husband left me married 9yrs and 4 kids......how can i stay on track while i am do depressed???
Get angry is right! Much more constructive than being sad. Check out Primal Blueprint for a quick and lasting way (IMO) to get weight off and kill hunger/cravings fast. Your self esteem will take control once again. My personal motivation is looking at Venus dot com. I now fit into their clothes and look/feel great (from 235lbs). Do it for yourself and kick his loser butt!!

Ketosis and Ketone Strips on Atkins
Ketosis happens on second or third day of carb restriction (20-30 net carbs daily). How much you drink will affect the amount of ketones in your urine. If you drink large quantities of water, it's likely the urine is too watered down to show the true level of ketones you're peeing out. If your breath is bad in the morning or you have a metallic or copper taste, then you know ketones are coming through more than just urine.

Low calories, high carb diet?
Want to try something healthy that will work? If you can, give up all grains. The science behind it is the grains screw up your insulin balance which then promotes fat storage. Then eat what you want within reason. You will probably find yourself loading up on lots of healthy nutrient-rich carbs.
Couldn't agree more! Wheat Belly book is a wake-up call.

What do you do for Urethra infection symptoms?
I'm interested to hear from women who've experienced urethra pain WITHOUT an infection appearing in urine sample. I have pain right at the pee tube exit and sometimes shooting pain into my bladder. Some days it's better but others not. This has been going on for 2 months now. I don't think it's diet related. I've been checked twice for infection and there's nothing there. What the heck? I'm 47 years old, just started menopause, and have tried all kinds of things that supposed to help, like cranberry juice, cranberry drops, supplements, coconut water etc. About the only thing that has helped my symptoms is direct application of tea tree oil but it burns a bit and I don't know if it's just masking the problem or actually helping it.

RDI- Protein, Carbs, Fat
I find many links to be too carb heavy. My primal lifestyle naturally has me at 50% fat, 35% protein and 15% carbs works for me.

Late night cravings and binging
Definitely some healthy body imagery and psychology tweaking is in order. Please get professional help before you really hurt yourself. For diet I highly recommend Primal Blueprint then eventually Paleo lifestyle. It's low carb, no grains or sugars, and lots of tasty animal proteins and saturated fats, and above ground veggies and berries. Yum!! And so incredibly satisfying that night binging will go away. My BP, blood sugar and all other base line things they check at doctor has fully recovered. My recovery has been called text book perfect. If you stick to it you'll be in fat burning ketosis in a few days and cravings will stop. I promise!!! It worked for me and I WAS a hard case too. Now I see the light at the end of this lifelong tunnel. Do it!

Hi i'm new
Highly recommend Paleo or Primal Blueprint. I've never had success like this before and feel great, not hungry or faint. No sugar, no grain. Might be hard at first for most, but stick with it. It works.
