Mountain-mam you are so right and also we must remember that the 3 per day sweetner does not just include the packs of sweetner, but also in other things Like the SF coffee syrups just for one example.

Ending Induction
Good Mourning Susan, first Congrats on the 7 lbs that really is a good loss. Seems like when you have under 50 lbs to loose or you do not have an excessive amount of body fat it goes a little slower, the good news is it will continue to come off!! There is a limit to the amount of dressing allowed each day during induction, 3 TBSP but even more than that its the type of dressing it must be 1 carb or <1 carb and the same for the sugar. How many carbs are you eating each day? If its Ok I can take a look at your daily menu and we can see whats going on. As far as the Ketone strips Dr Atkins first said they were important to the program, but later they have been proven not to be relied upon. The sure way of knowing you are in Ketosis is that you are not hungry. Here's the OWL ladder (from the All-New Atkins Advantage): 1) Induction veggies 2) Seeds and nuts 3) Berries and melons 4) Legumes 5) Fruits other than berries and melons 6) Starchy veggies 7) Whole grains The dairy rung was removed, but I added it back in for myself as rung 2 1/2 : ) Add 1 of these in 5 carb limits for one week to see how your body responds, then try another one. I would try 1 new food every 2-3 weeks. When and if you stop losing for 2 weeks lower your carbs by 5 carbs and you should see loss again. Wait a few weeks and try again. As you know we all have a carb limit in which we will not loose anymore or gain for that matter we are looking for that number after we have reached our Goal so for now try adding 5 carbs at a time moving on down the latter.

Atkins - psyllium or flax seed?
Single Pancake recipe 2 eggs beaten 2 tbsp flax 1/4 tsp baking powder van,cinn,splenda to taste mix all together cook with real butter on low to medium heat till done I have had this with cream cheese, pretty tasty.

Hello: Cyrillia: Girl i know what you mean "THAT WAGON" is sometime hard to stay on. SO0000 maybe if we all jump on together we can help each other. It has always helped me to have others to talk to that understand this weightloss journey. One thing I do know is that WE CAN MAKE IT! bretay: So far I must agree everyone is very kind and helpful.Great Job on the weightloss, YOU GO GIRL!! Changing our eating habits I believe is the key to our success. Thats one of the great things about Atkins, starting with induction , the programs is designed to help change our cravings and bad habits.So far I can already tell the differences. The MIM's are really good. Oh and I forgot to post that it is 3.5 net carbs. I also have a single flax pancake recipe if you would like it. You can also use 1/2 to 1oz cream cheese, 1 pkg splenda 1/8 tsp van or any flavoring mix all together put on MIM or pancake

There is a good recipe for MIM (muffin in a minute)that i got from the Atkins site, it is ok to have once a day and great for induction.Daily may upset the stomach until you are use to the flax. 1/4 cup flax meal 1 tsp cinn 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 pk splenda 1 egg mix dry ingredients first,then add egg mix all together put in coffee cup or small bowl microwave 30sec -1 min depending in microwave. Can even add a pat of real butter if you like. eat and enjoy!!
