Amen K8!!!! Seize the frickin Day!!! I get ready for the day by doing my hair and makeup and wearing the most expensive perfume because even though my body doesn't look how i want it to, everytime i walk past the mirror i say to myself "wow your makeup looks awesome today" and it gives me way more confindence and inspiration to work harder on my body. If i walked passed a mirror in sweats with my hair in a bun I would probablly say F-it to working out and go hide under a huge sweatshirt with a pint of ice-cream!! but to answer the post - If i were thin i would wear a brazilian cut bikini!!!!

Rose43, i just wanted to mention that if your caloric intake is below 1200 it is not going to change your metabolism. The idea is to trick it by eating less more days but dont forget to eat more the next, especially on days you are going to work out. THere are some days where i eat as little as 900 and I'm losing weight just fine. Your metabolism wont slow until your body has undergone a long starvation period of at LEAST 12 hours. By eating more one day and less anothing you are tricking your metabolism in a weird way. If the soup is working for you and your losing weight, keep at it!!!! All of the advice i just gave you is advice someone gave me, and it is definitely working for me!!!! good luck!

Best tasting protein drinks?
I agree with fatdaddy!!! muscle milk chococlate protein shake is the best. i mix it with water and its tastes like a thinned out shake from the diner!!! low carb and high protein also!!

Induction trouble...help!
sorry if i gave the wrong advice, i guess i am just speaking from my own experiences and what i have learned over the years. And not to mention i do not think Atkins is the healthiest diet out there. A well balanced meal including all food groups some in much more moderation than others is much healthier in my opinion, but what do i know. Mctwin, just find what works for you and remember to measure inches not pounds! keep it up!

Induction trouble...help!
usually in the first two weeks weight loss is rare...especially if you just started working out! if youre sore, your muscles are retaining water and that can cause a weight increase, also like everyone else said, not enough fiber from veggies. Don't be a scale-o-holic!! many factors contribute to no weight loss in the beginning, it will come off soon, i promise. stick to your diet (the right diet) and keep excersing, you WILL ge there!!! good luck!

First Binge in 4 Weeks
Good for you!!!! we all need a good binge day! what is the point of killing ourselves and swearing off everything delicious if we cant have just one cheat day! good for you for only having one in 4 weeks! i usually have a binge day once a week! and Hoser is right, it's good for your metabolism, you are tricking it in a weird sort of way!!! dont feel bad, everyone needs indulgence, what if today was your last day, you would be sooooo glad you binged!!!!

OMG you have got to check out Jillian Michaels 30 day shred!!!! i love it. There are 3 levels, each level is about a 20 minute work out. Start on level 1 and when it starts to become too easy move on to level 2!! super effective and motivating!! all you need is some hand weights and a dvd player!!! seriously check it out!!!

What's an easy way to get more *protein* into my diet?
beef jerky!!!! your story sounds a lot like mine, jerky is my favorite go to snack. its can be stored in your diaper bag and doesn't spoil. tons of protein and low on fat and carbs. it has lots of sodium but if your working out sweating a lot, i wouldn't worry about it!

Need to up calorie intake..but not hungry
Brittany-thanks for the tip! i find myself shoving an egg or piece of fruit down my throat in the morning because i hate eating in the morning, then i have a large late lunch and an even larger late dinner after my workout! even though i eat healthy and stay within my RDI, maybe 5 small meals would help me feel fuller!!
