You need to lift weights - I do a class at my gym called body pump which is weightlifting to music. It s amazing what a difference it has made. Though not on Atkins I am sure all my weight loss is fat not muscle.

Challenge updates
Hi. Am I doing something wrong? When I update my weight info I am checking the boxes to feed the information in to my challenges but they are not being updated at all. Is this a technical glitch with fatsecret or am I missing something?

Need some advice
Abbie - I always tell myself that the most difficult bit of exercise is stepping out of the door. If I only have that small barrier to overcome then it seems possible. If you need tips and encouragement I have been reading a website called nerd fitness which has some great tips about about doing it one step at a time and some good motivational stories. Incidentally before November I did hardly any exercise but now do at least 5 hrs per week and I'm amazed at how much better I feel. Logging it on your exercise chart is a good way to see that you do have time - try and get those resting hours down from 16 - it is much more difficult than you think.

Hi , I've been on the site for a 10 days or so and have been logging my food and exercise carefully. I can't work out why some days I get an asterisk in my diet calendar next to one or both and sometimes I don't. Anybody know?

Meal Plan
You can look at my food log, my diet has been working wonderfully for me but everybody is different. You might hate the food that I'm eating and dieting should also be fun, not just eating plain foods ...

homemade custard baklava calories. Help!!
It is probably somewhere from 360 to 430 cals per 100 grams. It's a lot of calories so I wouldn't eat more then a piece a day.

This is tough......I,m spending 90% of my time trying to stay on meal plan and the other 10% going off it.....Resulting in an increase in weight..
